Thank you for your interest in commissioning Nomi to create a beautiful painting or drawing for you. Her goal is to work closely with you to produce a personalized portrait that you will love and perhaps also give as a gift. If you wish Nomi to photograph you for your drawing or painting at Mandalay Beach in Oxnard, please call for an appointment. There is no additional charge, but a $500 deposit toward your commission is required. In preparation for your portrait, if you wish a photo session with Nomi at your home or another location, please call for information. Please contact Nomi if you would like help selecting from your personal photographs on which you wish her to base the artwork. High resolution digital images may be emailed or sent on a CD. Photographs (unframed and maximum 5x7 please) will be scanned. All images will be returned to you. If an image is copyrighted, please submit signed permission from the photographer for use of their image. You are welcome to send additional photos to be used for reference information on the subject(s) and/or the environment. If you have a concept or color scheme in mind for your painting, or you have any particular concerns, Nomi hopes you will share these with her. She will keep you apprised of your work in progress (by e-mail) so that you can give her your feedback. In order to be placed on Nomi's schedule, a $500 deposit is required. Your painting commission fee includes an image printed on any size of fine art watercolor paper up to 30x40 inches (size includes approximate 2 inch white border on all sides of print). Paintings may be ordered on canvas up to 40x60 for an additional fee. Additional hand-signed prints and greeting cards may be ordered. If your prints are ever lost or damaged, replacements can be produced from your archived digital file. Nomi looks forward to creating a treasured heirloom for you and your family to cherish.  |
