I just finished this bridal portrait painting for a California couple who found my website online. They have very few photos from their 1969 wedding and those they have are faded and blurred. I have to admit that this was a much tougher project than I thought it would be. I couldn’t see exact facial details, but I persevered (with my husband’s encouragement!) and I’m so glad I did.
Fortunately my client still has her wedding gown and veil and was able to email photos of those plus some school photos. We both had fun researching ’69 Chevelle Malibus online. Her husband found the correct paint color of their model, and I was able to figure out the perspective of the rear window shape.
Thanks so much— you did a fabulous job!!! Got your photo of the frame you chose for us at your framer. It looks great. Can’t wait to receive the portrait painting. Maybe we’ll make a road trip out of it, so we can visit you and pick it up in person! I viewed the video on your homepage and I'm amazed at your work!!! Your process of painting photos on the computer is fascinating to me. I can't believe how you are able to paint these pictures and change things around. It means so much to us that we will finally be able to share our wedding portrait with our children and grandchildren after all these years.
We received our package an hour ago. After going through layer on layer of a very well packaged painting and finally reaching the moment of truth, we have been staring in amazement for an hour at our painting. You are truly an artist capturing our moment in time forever! No words can express how grateful we are to you. Your hard work far exceeds our expectations. We are truly pleased and thrilled with the final result!
Thank you so much,
Linda & Joseph
